• Longwood enrolls record freshman class, Enrollment expected to top 4,800 (8/27)
  

  Longwood University welcomed a record number of new students when classes began on Monday, August 25. To date, new student enrollment includes 1,065 freshmen and 165 transfer students for a total of 1,230 new students. For fall 2008, Longwood's total enrollment is projected to reach more than 4,800 students, marking the university's highest enrollment ever. Read more
