Please join the Art Program in welcoming visiting artist Tim Doud to campus. Doud is a Washington, DC based painter and Professor of Art at American University. Tim Doud’s paintings and drawings address two seemingly distinct bodies of work, one figurative and one abstract. These bodies of works serve as a backdrop to broader discussions around constructed identities, branding, and commodity culture. He graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with an M.F.A in Painting and Drawing. He also attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine.
