#Longwood21 acceptance letters are out, and as usual, the recipients are quite excited about joining the Lancer family in fall of 2017.

14. Virginia Children’s Book Festival


In its third year, the Virginia Children's Book Festival brought over 7,000 children from all over Virginia to Longwood’s campus to hear from their favorite authors and illustrators—including a 2016 National Book Award winner and a 2016 Newbery Medal winner.

15. Faculty mentorship


It's no surprise—Longwood faculty continues to inspire students even after they graduate.
