Margaret Dudley ’25 has joined the archaeology team at Red Hill Patrick Henry National Memorial as a full-time staff archaeologist.

At the historic site—Patrick Henry’s former home and burial place—Dudley has contributed to ongoing excavations, including overseeing work at the Double Cabins site. There, she led a team of 10 Longwood archaeology students in studying the remains of two structures that once housed enslaved people on the plantation.

Dudley majored in anthropology and archaeology at Longwood.
