Longwood University's Speech, Hearing, and Learning Services (SHLS) will offer Reader's Theater this summer for children 7 years and older. This camp is offered in an engaging and motivating format that combines reading practice and performance with a focus on enhancing students' reading skills and confidence by having them practice reading with a purpose. Reader's Theater gives students a fun reason to read aloud.
This camp will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 1:30-4:15 from July 10-August 2.
Cost is as follows: $75 for the first week and $65 for each additional week. A $40 nonrefundable deposit and completed registration form are required by June 4th to reserve a space. The deposit will be applied to the first week’s payment. Full payment required by June 22nd. Refunds are not given after June 30th.
