For me, I think learning the writing formats, APA /MLA, is the most useful skill that I learned. A lot of the courses that I took required citations for the assignments.
I learned how to use the campus recourses, for example, the writing center and how to manage my study time, and how to adapt to an American college.
I felt very free to talk with my professor, and it was really helpful because, at that time, I was quite nervous and had no idea about the specific processes in my new college life.
Because your classmates are from different countries we learned about different countries’ cultures and I prepared a song to share with my classmates to help us improve our vocabulary.
