Please join us for the Spring Symposium for Research and Creative Inquiry on April 24, 2018.
We have an exciting set of events planned starting at 8:15am. Over 600 undergraduate and graduate students will present their work at this event and we have students presenting from all academic colleges!
The day is going to be organized like a conference, with hour-long poster sessions occurring in the Blackwell Ballroom, oral presentation sessions occurring in Ruffner and Bedford classrooms, theater performances in CSAT Lab Theater, and music performances in the Molnar Recital Hall.
There will be Keynote addresses from Longwood alumni in the morning (Dr. Sarah Tanner-Anderson, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership, Longwood University, 8:15-9:00) and during lunch (Dr. Robert Northington, Research Assistant Professor, University of Maine Climate Change Institute, 12:30 - 1:30).
Other exciting events occurring on this day include the Junior Art Show in Bedford, the Senior Art Show at the LCVA, and student presentations at the Moton Museum.
In addition, the Graduate Symposium and Awards Presentation will be held in the Greenwood Library from 2:00 - 6:00.
