Two faculty members in the Department of Education and Counseling received awards at the September 10, 2026, Convocation. Congratulations to the following:
- Dr. Karla Collins, professor of school librarianship, recipient of the Maria Bristow Starke Faculty Excellence Award, for demonstrating excellence in scholarship, teaching, and other professional activities, and
- Dr. Alecia Blackwood, assistant professor of education, recipient of the Innovation in Teaching Award, for demonstrating outstanding innovation in teaching.
