Graphic and Animation Design

A Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Visual and Performing Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design integrates all aspects of visual communication including:

  • graphic design
  • brand identity
  • typography
  • interactive and web design
  • print and digital production
  • animation and simulation design
  • 3D modeling
  • storyboarding
  • time-based media
  • illustration



The Art program offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Visual and Performing Arts with concentrations in:

The program also offers courses that fulfill Goal 4 of the University General Education Program, as well as studio classes for interested students.

The Paris Atelier studio in Paris is available to full-time art/music teaching faculty in the Virginia institutions involved in the original contract, but is eligible to other colleges’/university art/music faculty when vacant.
