English & Modern Languages
Students who major in English at Longwood University enroll in a series of courses which explore all of the historical and cultural periods of British and American literature.
Minors include English, Rhetoric and Professional Writing, Creative Writing, and Children's Literature.

Majors require a concentration in one of these four areas and completion of a second modern language through the intermediate level.
