    It only takes one pill to end a life. But it only takes one conversation to prevent that from happening. That was the message Longwood students received during the “It Only Takes One” fentanyl awareness event held Wednesday evening, which was organized by senior Taylor Blount ’26 .

    A Business with Heart: Faculty couple open nonprofit thrift store with community in mind

    Until recently Sarai and Adam Blincoe would almost certainly have been voted the couple least likely to open a thrift store. They both hold doctorates—she in psychology and he in philosophy—and both are on the faculty at Longwood. Neither has ever worked in retail much less run a business.
