Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee (IACUC)

The IACUC oversees and monitors the policies, procedures, and facilities to ensure that the treatment of vertebrate animals is in accordance with federal guidelines.

Institutional Review Board (IRB)

The IRB reviews and approves the adequacy of human subject protection.

Student Research Survey Submission Form

The Office of Student Research will post the survey on the central repository site. The survey will be removed from the central repository site after the survey end date.

Poster Printing 

The OSR offers FREE poster printing services for course-based student research or presentation of research at a conference.

Free poster printing services are available for student research and creative inquiry projects for students in departments that do not have their own poster printer.

OSR prints research posters for students for free under the following conditions:

  • We can print any size poster as long as one of the dimensions (length or width) does not exceed 36in.
    • Common poster sizes are 30 in. X 40 in. or 36in. X 48 in
  • OSR will print posters in color. However, please use a white background on your poster to save ink
  • Please submit your poster 5 business days before the pickup date to allow for printing

Fall and Spring Student Showcase Posters

For Longwood’s Fall and Spring Student Showcase events, the maximum allowable poster size is 30in. x 40in.
