Fall Showcase 2019 Detailed Program

Visitors and Visitor Parking:
The event is free and open to the public, so feel free to encourage students to invite friends, family, and community members. Even if your students are not presenting during the Showcase, please encourage your students to come to see the presentations on November 21. Free parking for visitors will be available in the Brock Parking Garage.

Registration:
Undergraduate presenting students will need to stop by the registration table in the Upchurch University Center sometime before their presentation. The students will check in there and receive a nametag, their poster number (if applicable), and other important information. The registration table in the Upchurch University Center will open at 2:30 P.M. on November 21.

Poster presenters:
Students may put up their poster 10 minutes before the start of their session. Push pins and poster clips will be provided. Volunteers will be on hand to assist the students. Students must take their poster down immediately at the end of the session.

Poster drop-off:
Students and faculty are welcome to come early and drop off posters in the Student Involvement Center on the third floor of the Upchurch University Center. The poster should be rolled up, secured with a rubber band, and labeled on the outside with the name of the faculty mentor and/or student's name and presentation time. There will be a clearly marked area for each poster session time so please make sure you leave the poster in the correct area. The poster drop-off room will also be available all day on November 21.

Oral presenters:
Students need to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their session to load their presentation onto the meeting room computer. A session chair will be on hand to assist the students with this process.

Finally, please use the time when your students are not presenting to make your way around campus and enjoy what all of our students are presenting!
