Study Abroad Advising

A study abroad advisor can help students navigate the study abroad experience from the initial application to pre-departure preparation, to post-return opportunities.

Office hours for individual study abroad questions are held daily in Lankford 218 (see hours on the right). To request an appointment outside these hours, contact Emily Kane or Erik Varela.

Academic advising

Academic advisors are integral to helping students figure out which courses to take while abroad and how credit from a study abroad program may fit into their degree program. Students must meet with their academic advisor before applying to any study abroad program.

Financial aid office

Students should work closely with the financial aid office. Most study abroad participants utilize some form of financial aid for their program.
