Chichester Science Center
We offer courses in chemistry, physics, and science education. Our students major in chemistry or physics with secondary education and pre-professional concentrations. Additionally, we offer a dual-degree engineering program.
Our faculty are engaged in excellent teaching, research, mentoring, and advising with a student-focused department. Undergraduate research is an important and valued part of the curriculum.

Dr. Keith Rider, associate professor of chemistry, recently had a paper accepted for publication in The Journal of Physical Chemistry titled "Helium Droplet Assembled Nanocluster Films: Cluster Formation and Deposition Rates". The research was conducted during a one-year sabbatical at the Energetic Materials Branch of the Air Force Reasearch Laboratory in Eglin, Floriday.
