Dr. Sarah Tanner-Anderson, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership, and Dr. Ronda Walker, Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences and Disorders, presented "Mentorship for Graduate Students of Color" at the 23rd Annual Women Educators in Virginia (WELV) Conference in March 2022 in Charlottesville, VA.  The session examined the perceptions of graduate alumni of color to better recruit, retain, and support students of color in predominantly white graduate programs. Discussion focused on participants’ perceptions and experiences and how data are used to better inform future recruitment, retention, and support efforts for students of color.
