Leadership Starts Here
Longwood University’s Educational Leadership Endorsement prepares you to join the next generation of school leaders. Built for educators, this affordable, flexible, hybrid program equips you with the tools to step up, stand out and become the leader your school needs.
Through a transformative experience guided by current and former school administrators, you’ll receive mentorship, support and instruction tailored to your professional growth. These experienced leaders, alongside Longwood faculty, will help you develop the confidence and skills to lead with purpose and impact. You'll also work with an intern mentor in your own school division to fulfill internship requirements.
Successful completion of the courses and the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA) will allow you to obtain the Administration & Supervision PreK-12 endorsement through the VDOE and apply for positions such as principal, assistant principal, curriculum director, department chair and more.
