  • Campus Housing Release

The deadline to submit an off-campus release application ended at 5pm on Friday, February 3, 2012

Those Juniors or Seniors with 56 or greater completed credits at the conclusion of the spring 2012 semester that missed this deadline and still wish to be released to live off-campus can submit this request by emailing housing@longwood.edu.  RCL will continue to accept release requests from Juniors and Seniors that have not registered for Longwood managed housing.  Once these requests are received, RCL will provide the student with instructions to complete the off-campus release orientation and will provide the student with a written letter approving the off-campus release request.

Those Sophomores with 48-55 completed credits at the conclusion of the spring 2012 semester that missed this deadline can submit an appeal letter requesting off-campus release.  This letter should explain the reason the student is requesting release to live off-campus and should be emailed to housing@longwood.edu.  Once received, these letters will be reviewed by the RCL appeals committee and release decisions will be emailed to the student's Longwood email account.

Submission of an off-campus appeal letter, does not guarantee that the student will be released to live off-campus
