Accounting Fair
Fall 2020

Students interested in work opportunities with accounting roles should attend this career fair. Companies participating in the Accounting Job and Internship Fair often secure spring semester and/or summer internship opportunities, and entry-level jobs after graduation.

Students attending the Accounting Fair should plan to bring with them an updated resume and be ready to connect with new employer contacts through Linkedin.


Law Enforcement Fair
Fall 2020

The Law Enforcement Job and Internship Fair is a great opportunity for students interested in policing careers as well as other protective services roles with federal and state agencies. Recruitment representatives from several Virginia county police departments will be in attendance. Students with majors and minors in the Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice Studies department considering careers in law enforcement are highly encouraged to attend, but all students are welcome.

Students should bring to the Law Enforcement Fair an updated resume and be prepared to discuss their aspirations within the law enforcement profession.


Job, Internship, and Graduate School Fair
Fall 2020

Companies of all types and sizes from across industries will be on campus recruiting students and alumni for both job and internship roles. Graduate schools will also be in attendance to discuss options and provide advice to those students considering graduate degree programs. Students from all majors and career interests will find value in this fair, particularly those students in the Cook-Cole College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business and Economics.

Students should plan to bring a copy of their resume and have fully completed a Linkedin profile.


Nursing Job Fair
Fall 2020

Nursing students are invited to attend this career fair and meet representatives from various Virginia health systems recruiting entry-level nursing positions.

 


Speech-Language, Pathology & Counseling Fair

Master’s level Communication Sciences, Disorders & Counseling candidates seeking employment should attend this fair. Students attending the fair should plan to bring with them an updated resume and be ready to connect with new employer contacts through Linkedin.

From its inception in 1839Longwood has been committed to the preparation of educational professionals and the development of teachers as creative and innovative leaders. Meet with school system representatives who want to hire Longwood graduates. Employers participating in this fair often secure entry level positions and most employers conduct interviews on-site the day of the fair. The fair is from 10-11:30am in the Blackwell Ballroom. Interviews will be conducted from 12:30 – 4pm in the Blackwell Ballroom.
