User Support Services is located in the basement of the French Hall, which is located on High Street next to Tabb Hall.
Student Network Services
Welcome back students! Here are a few quick reminders regarding network access:
Residence Hall/Longwood Managed Apartments:
Hard wired and wireless network services in the residence halls and Longwood managed apartments are provided by Shentel. Registration is required. You will need to connect to the network jack in your room using an Ethernet cable. Ethernet cables can be purchased at the Longwood Bookstore or any store that sells technology supplies. Instructions for registration are available here. To access Shentel wireless service you will use the username and password that you set up during the registration process. Shentel's wireless network is named Shentel WiFi.
Students in need of registration or networking assistance in Longwood managed rooms or apartments can call Shentel at 1-855-267-7289.
LancerNet Network Services:
It is important to note that Longwood LancerNet wireless is also available in some locations on campus (Library, Academic Buildings, Brock Commons, etc.). The Longwood wireless network is named LancerNet and is accessed using the LancerNet ID and password.
If you are experiencing issues with LancerNet or have any other technological problem please contact your RTA. If you are unsure of who your RTA is a list may be found here.
Submit A Work Order
From campus, log on to our Customer Support website to submit your work order. You will use your Longwood email address and your LancerNet password to access the system.
Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org detailing your name, issues that you are experiencing, contact information and a good time to connect with you in regards to this issue.
