User Support Services is located in the basement of the French Hall, which is located on High Street next to Tabb Hall.

What's New??

Student Network Services

Welcome back students!  Here are a few quick reminders regarding network access:

Residence Hall/Longwood Managed Apartments:

Hard wired and wireless network services in you Longwood managed room or apartment is provided by Shentel. Registration for returning students is not required for the spring semester. New students will need to contact Shentel via telephone for network registration.  Hard wired registration is required in order to use wireless network services. Shentel’s wireless network is named Shentel WiFi.  

Students in need of registration or networking assistance in Longwood managed rooms or apartments can call Shentel at 1-855-267-7289.

 LancerNet Network Services:

It is important to note that Longwood LancerNet wireless is also available in some locations on campus (Library, Academic Buildings, Brock Commons, etc.). The Longwood wireless network is named LancerNet and is accessed using the LancerNet ID and password.  

If you are experiencing issues with LancerNet or have any other technological problem please contact your RTA. If you are unsure of who your RTA is a list may be found here

Submit A Work Order

Faculty/Staff

(on campus):

Log on to our Customer Support website to submit your work order. You will use your Longwood email address and your LancerNet password to access the system.

(off campus):

Send an email to helpdesk@longwood.edu detailing your name, issues that you are experiencing, contact information and a good time to connect with you in regards to this issue.
