With remote printing students, faculty and staff can print from any computer that has access to the Internet at one of our print stations. Print station locations are listed below:

  • Upchurch 305
  • Chichester G13
  • Hiner 16
  • Library Information Commons

Print jobs will be available for print for 24 hours after they are uploaded.


Remote Printing

First, Upload your document for printing at http://print.longwood.edu.

  • Login in with your LancerNet ID and password
  • Choose Upload - the uploaded file(s) are available for printing at any print station
  • Go to a print station in the Academic Computing Labs, Upchurch, or the Library

At the Print Station

  • Swipe your Longwood ID and
  • Select the file(s) that you want to print

You must have funds available in your account in order to print. Your account balance will be displayed on the website for your convenience.


Supported File Formats - Files must be 50 MB or less

  • Word
  • PowerPoint
  • Excel
  • PDF
  • Images
  • Text (CSV, RTF, and TXT).

Access Printing Website 

You can access the printing website and view files available to print and your account balance from your Smartphone or from any computer connected to the Internet. 


Direct Printing

You can print directly from computers in the labs and library. You will be asked to enter a job description and your LancerNet ID (the same credentials you use with myLongwood and Canvas). You may enter whatever you like as the job description or leave it blank. It is used as a guide to help you identify your print job.
