Important housing information regarding the end of the semester. Please review it carefully.

Thanksgiving Break

The university will be closed for Thanksgiving Break November 24-27 and will re-open on November 30.

Residence halls are closed at 6 p.m. on Nov. 24 for Thanksgiving Break.

Students who wish to stay over the Thanksgiving break must complete an Intent to Stay form through the Housing Gateway by 5 p.m. on Monday Nov. 16 so that campus police and Residence and Commuter Life staff know which rooms are occupied.

Remember that Dorrill Dining Hall and food options in Upchurch University Center will not be open during Thanksgiving Break.

Exam Week

The university will be open from November 30-December 12 for exams.

Because most exams will be online, we know that there are many students who do not plan to return to campus after the Thanksgiving Break.

If you plan to be on campus for any portion of exam week, please let us know by completing an Intent to Stay form through the Housing Gateway.

This will ensure that campus police know how many students are on campus and RCL staff can complete room checks of those students who are not on campus.

Winter Break

Winter Break begins at noon on December 12.

Students are not eligible to remain in on-campus residence halls after 12 p.m. on December 12, 2020-January 9, 2021.

Lancer Park and Longwood Landings

Residents of Lancer Park and Longwood Landings returning to the same apartment space for the Spring 2021 semester are eligible to remain in their apartments Dec. 13-Jan. 9, but must complete the Intent to Stay form through the Housing Gateway.
