Welcome to Greek Life!

Longwood University Greek life comprises the College Panhellenic Council, Inter-Fraternity Council and National Pan-Hellenic Council. All are highly involved on Longwood's campus and bring both integrity and honor into everything they set out to accomplish.

Each Greek organization holds its members to high standards of academic achievement, campus involvement and, most importantly, adherence to the Longwood Honor Code.

Spring semester is always exciting as the Greek community brings in as many as 250 new members! Recruitment kicks off in full swing with CPC Recruitment the weekend before classes begin, and, in a longstanding tradition at Longwood, the culmination of CPC recruitment weekend ends with CPC Walk. All women who accept a bid from a CPC chapter get to run home to their new sisters!

IFC Recruitment sets in during the first two weeks of February when dozens of young men choose the fraternity they will call their new home at Longwood.

We must not forget that new member processes for our NPHC community could also bring us new members in the spring semester. With New Member Presentation possibilities… who might join our NPHC community? Wait and see!
