Criminal Justice Internships

Internships are a great way to get exposure to the professional environment and they provide practical, on-the-job experience in Criminal Justice. Places to consider for an internship experience are

  • local law enforcement agencies
  • adult probation and parole
  • court services
  • law offices
  • fraud divisions
  • state and federal agencies

Typically you'll complete your internship requirement during the summer between your junior and senior year. You'll need to have completed at least 18 hours of major coursework and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 to be eligible for internship enrollment.

Our Internship deadlines vary and a good guideline to follow is begin identifying potential internship options no later than Fall Break if you plan to complete an internship over the summer.
