Psychology

An internship of at least 1 credit (40 working hours) is required for the Psychology major. The internship should ideally be completed junior/senior year and is a tool for helping you to explore an area of psychology that you may want to pursue after college. You can fulfill an internship by working within the department on a research project with a faculty member (consult individual faculty with whom you’d like to work) OR you can work in an organization or business, either on-campus or off-campus.

Contact our Internship Coordinator, Dr. Sarai Blincoe @ blincoesc@longwood.edu, to learn more about internship opportunities.
