Lancer Park Entrance
Lancer Park is one of the three Longwood managed apartment communities. It is located less than a mile from campus. Students with appropriate parking passes are allowed to park at Lancer Park, but they cannot park on campus until after 6:00pm. The entire community houses 714 students and features four different styles of apartment living experiences. In Lancer Park, sophomores, juniors and seniors are housed in three distinct apartment designs, including four-bedroom apartments, two-bed apartments, and four-bedroom townhouses. The newest section opened in 2013 and includes Lancer Park-North and Lancer Park- South. This new area houses sophomores, juniors and seniors in two-bedroom, four-bedroom apartments, and single-studio apartments. Lancer Park Commons features the POD Market which provides grab-and-go convenience style food and drinks, a large meeting room, a gaming area, a fitness center, and the community’s reception desk. Lancer Park is overseen by the Residence Education Coordinator (REC) and is staffed by 14 Resident Assistants (RA). Please note that Lancer Park has been called Stanley Park and Lancer Village in the past. Also note, a fulltime police officer lives at Lancer Park and several intramural fields are present. In 2010, an entry bridge opened as well as a pedestrian bridge connecting Lancer Park to the main campus.
