All Longwood University students, faculty and staff are required to have a Lancer Card, our Longwood ID. We use it for important services, including:
You'll need your LancerNetID & password, an approved photo, and a government-issued Id.
Your Lancer Card will be available for pick up when you move in.
Submit your photo and we'll get to work on making your ID.
Your Lancer ID is a valid, state-issued photo ID card and subject to certain rules and regulations.
If you have difficulty meeting these guidelines, please contact the Lancer Card & Campus Services at lancercard@longwood.edu or call (434) 395-2715.
Photo submissions are reviewed manually and can take up to two business days to be processed.
You will receive an email letting you know whether your photo was accepted or rejected.
Your Lancer Card will be available for pick up when you visit campus for Orientation this summer. Just be sure to submit your photo at least two days before your scheduled Orientation session. Cards not picked up during Orientation can be picked up when you arrive to campus in August.
You'll need to present a valid photo ID to pick up your Lancer Card.
