Enrollment Verifications

Students

To request an Enrollment Verification, please complete the Enrollment Verification Request form. There is a $5 fee per enrollment verification for this service. Return the completed form, with proof of payment, to the Office of the Registrar. The Office of the Registrar accepts LancerCash. Cash and check payments should be submitted to the Office of Cashiering.

Enrollment Verifications include:

  • Longwood letterhead
  • Expected graduation date
  • Complete history of enrollment by term
    • Term dates
    • Enrollment time status (ex. full-time, part-time)
  • Degree & major
  • Signature of Longwood Official

Enrollment Verifications typically take 3-5 business days to process. They can either be picked up, mailed first class, or faxed. Enrollment Verifications cannot be emailed.

Enrollment Certificate

You can also request an Enrollment Certificate from the National Student Clearinghouse 24/7. This is a free service. Note that this will not be printed on Longwood letterhead, and will not have the signature of a Longwood official.

To obtain an Enrollment Certificate:

  • Log onto myLongwood
  • Click on Student Tab
  • Click Obtain an Enrollment Certificate under the Student Shortcuts
  • Click Secure Connection to the National Student Clearinghouse Services
  • Click Connect to Clearinghouse
  • Click Obtain an Enrollment Certificate

Enrollment Certificates include:

  • Enrollment status by term
  • Term dates
  • Date the information was certified by Longwood University
  • Expected graduate date

Employers & Background Screeners

The National Student Clearinghouse is Longwood University's authorized agent for verifications of enrollment and degrees.
